French is a living language. Practicing French with real people makes French real. Really make French real by requesting personal shoutouts to your students. Please don't be shy or underestimate the value of this piece. You can start with school name, class name, school nickname, and/or town/city name shoutout requests. But, we encourage you to add personalized shoutouts, too. For example, you can have the artist(s) say: "Savez-vous que vous avez la meilleure prof de français qui a jamais existée ?!" or "Hé ! Sam ! Portes-tu tes chaussettes rouges comme d'habitude ?" Little inside jokes, or nods to students tastes, strengths, likes, and accomplishments are key to building a strong French program. Let the artist(s) join you in making your students feel special.
